Managed Network Services
GLS is pleased to offer our commercially proven managed
network services to the Federal Government
through the GSA contract process. GLS is able to provide
a full range of managed network services that include
management and monitoring of the networking
and/or Security equipment, the carrier circuit and Secure
VPN tunnels where appropriate. GLS is able to provide
a full range of services including, network design,
engineering, integration, testing, configuration, installation,
24x7 proactive monitoring and break-fix. IT managers
have real-time access to events on the network
though the GLS U.Connect web portal.
GLS managed network services cover a range of network
technologies. Those technologies include IP VPN,
Frame Relay, Private Line, MPLS VPN, DSL, ISDN, VoIP
and Dial-Backup. The list of service providers that GLS
currently manages includes AT&T, MCI, Sprint, Qwest,
Verizon, Bell South, SBC, Covad, New Edge and Broadwing.
GLS also supports a wide range of Network and Security
platforms as part of the overall management solution.
The network and security products that are supported
include Firewalls, Routers, VoIP devices, switches, hubs,
IDS, IDP, and other related products. GLS supports a
wide range of Vendors that include, Cisco, Juniper, Netscreen,
Nortel, Siemens, Checkpoint, SonicWALL, HP,
Radware, Enterasys and others.
