The MB.Link managed IPT solution suite is a
comprehensive service, providing a single point
of contact that designs, builds, and manages
the complete IPT solution leveraging the Asterisk platform.
MB.Link IPT Asterisk
is a product suite based on Asterisk, an open
source Linux based solution that GLS builds,
installs and manages as part of the IPT network
design. MB.Link IPT Asterisk is a comprehensive
managed solution that is feature rich and provides
great flexibility. GLS works to design the IPT
solution so that customers can maximize their
current equipment and network investments
while leveraging the benefits of IPT. The open
source Asterisk system uses Polycom phones
and has a robust feature set and is extremely reliable.
The only costs for the Asterisk IP PBX system are
the costs of the server hardware configuration,
Polycom phones, and the cost for GLS to build and
configure the system. When compared to the cost
of building and deploying one of the popular
proprietary systems such as Cisco, Avaya or
Shoretel IP PBX the MB.Link IPT Asterisk solution
can be implemented for just a small fraction of the cost.
