GLS Managed IPT
MB.Link IPT is a broad suite of managed network
services that takes the pain out of building and managing an IPT
solution. Our managed IPT services are made available through
carriers, solution providers and directly from GLS. The MB.Link
managed IPT solution suite is a comprehensive service, providing
a single point of contact that manages, monitors and coordinates
the activities all the IPT solution and the associated vendors.
GLS offers two types of IPT Solutions:
GLS designs, builds and manages a full IPT
solution based on Asterisk, an open source Linux based solution
that GLS builds, installs and manages as part of the IPT network
design. MB.Link IPT Asterisk is a comprehensive managed
solution that is feature rich and provides great flexibility.
GLS works to design the IPT solution so that customers can
maximize their current equipment and network investments
while leveraging the benefits of IPT
- Managed IPT Day 2 - Cisco
GLS delivers a "Day 2" managed IPT solution
based off of the Cisco Platform that has been implemented by
a solution provider, but does not carry a level of proactive
monitoring and management required to support the total
solution. This offer is designed to augment the services of
existing Cisco IPT solutions providers or to deliver a solution
for a Cisco IPT solution that is already installed, but lacks the
total support needed to operate at peak performance.
Customers are often overwhelmed when
faced with trying to coordinate and manage all the
complexities of an installed IPT solution. Challenges include
a lack of network monitoring infrastructure, the need for
diverse technical skills, and frustration with trying to in
manage and coordinate the various IPT vendors. As such,
GLS is able to remove this complexity by offering "Day 2" services.
